I want a Spurs v. Celtics final. Two teams that will have to rebuild in a few years; a handful of superstars I grew up enjoying. Two of the best coaches in the NBA, also close to retirement.

The Heat and Thunder will have their rivalry, but please let this be what I never fully appreciated from the great teams I grew up enjoying!

OKC can't beat this team 4 out of 5 times. San Antonio will advance. They are playing incredible team basketball out there. Russ needs to try and become a better defender. Parker was eating him alive on those pick n rolls

Thunder even the series 2-2. Serge Ibaka goes 11-11 and looks like a young Shawn Kemp. Kevin Durant takes over in the 4th and drops 34. Westbrook played stellar defense on Parker. Shooter Jack and Kawhi Leonard played well for the Spurs.

lol like anyone here has ever watched shawn kemp play.

shawn kemp was the 16th pick when he was drafted, which is crazy. possibly the most underrated big man ever.

now you have to wonder if the spurs have the legs for this series. they may be playing past their bedtime.

      Respectfully, I completely disagree. Last year we were:  32nd in Sacks. 32nd in Turnovers.  32nd in Rushing TDs allowed  29th in Scoring.  We were absolutely atrocious on defense last year and that was with a full stable of weapons in Derek Brown, Frankie Luvu and Brian Burns that played all 17 games.  Using yards per game as a metric to guage our success lacks the context that because our offense was so inept teams were not driving the length of the field, they were starting at their 40-50 yard line.  This year, our Defense ranks:  31st in Sacks. Tied for 19th in Turnovers  31st in Rushing TDs allowed 32nd in Scoring  His defense fails to get pressure, fails to turn the ball over and fails to stop the run. Three things you absolutely have to do to be successful in the NFL.  Denver meanwhile has not missed a beat without him.  If another team wants to hire him as a HC and the Panthers get two 3rds for it I'll wish him the best and pack his bags myself.
