And with all that they're still sorry and still utter that "we'll get em next year" phrase that you poke fun at bobcats fans for.

Lol all that typing and those lovable losers are still.....losers! A century of being shi**y. Who cares about all that other crap. Bahaha, "we suck yearly, joe but hey, at least we sell out."

You're missing the point and we've had this conversation before. Go read that post I made a month ago to you about this same topic. You never replied to it which is usually indication I'm right.

Until you get the right people in the right place, sh1t will never change. Cubs made great off season management hires this season and have made drastic improvements that show on the field this season. Can you say that about the bobcats this season? Didn't think so!

Cubs are a very valuable team with a fan base that the bobcats will never have.

Bobcats are a team that isn't supported by the city, is laughed at by most people who watch the NBA, and more importantly no one cares about.

It's not even fair to compare a historic, loved team like the cubs to a "professional" nba team like the bobcats.

lol only one of those guys was playing for the Hornets the year they left Charlotte and he ended up being traded for basically nothing three years later.

And really, calling Kobe a Hornet when he didn't even play a single minute in Charlotte? Wow.

They got an all-star center out of the Bryant pick. Only two of the Bobcats I listed is still on the roster. The point was the bobcats are a horrible in the draft.

Really, Kobe was part of the hornets brand?

Dumbass

Clearly went over your head. The Bryant pick turned into an all star center. The Bobcats have wasted years of lotteey picks on scrubs.

If by "the Bryant pick turned into an all star center" you mean "the Bryant pick turned into 2 years of Vlade Divac, then he left as a free agent and a few years later made a single all star team with Sacramento"

then you are correct

And your missing my point in which none of that matters unless you win. Who cares about value and that other crap if your a constant loser. The Cubs are "historic" and "loved" for being lovable losers or cursed. It also doesn't hurt that they play in Chicago. A city 2-3 times as big as Charlotte, and a city that some would put on the same level as a New York or LA. Of course the Bobcats will never have a fanbase or be on the level of a team like the Cubs, the Hornets never had a fanbase like the Cubs and would never have. The Panthers will never be on the level of a team like the Bears or Jets. I would hate for the Bobcats to be like the Cubs. Yea, people "love" you because of "history" or "tradition"...but that history or tradition is filled with losing. I dont want that for the Cats, and Im pretty sure Cat fans don't want that. We want to win and want to be known for winning.

As for the bolded...the Bobcats have made nice offseason moves, and it started last season with us getting Cho, and the drafting of Kemba and Biyombo. As for the records...the Cats didn't have a great winning position, but that was to be excepted; especially in the beginning of a rebuilding phase. Your Cubs will probably still lose close to 100 games this season. Also, as for Charlotte not supporting the Cats. I'm not from Charlotte, so I dont particularly care what Charlotte does. When we build a winner, the people will come. Can't worry about that. Charlotte is known as a bandwagon city anyways for what its worth

bobcats moving in right direction with dropping bad contracts and getting picks to try and find a superstar, only way good teams are built, durant, bron (cleveland) way. it isnt easy for drafting NBA prospects id say close to the hardest to evaluate talent. but we just gotta hit on a superstar type and we have alot of pieces and money to fill in the rest, just gotta get a little lucky...

and i actually do think the panthers will become a america love them or hate them team solely because of Cam, he is just that kind of guy, that good and will take the team to playoffs yr in and yr out.

If you go on a lot of statistical data, the Charlotte Hornets (not the New Orleans Hornets) have more fans than the Charlotte Bobcats in terms of fan support.

Cubs won't lose 100 games with the pitching they have this year. Watch baseball.

However, I will admit that Charlotte is known as a bandwagon town. It's because it's such a nice place to live a lot of people from different states move here. Which leads me to my next point: I'd argue that much of the bobcats fanbase consists of people who are real fans of other teams. Sure they "pull" for the bobcats, but when the Cavs, Knicks, Heat, Lakers, Hawks come to town it's a different story. Most of the people who attend bobcat games are going to see the other team or got tickets for free. I turn down tickets every year.

Basically everyone I know who is a Charlotte native, and I know a lot, aren't fans of the bobcats. They don't care. I tried to get behind them when they first came here but it's just not in me. They aren't my team and sadly they aren't Charlottes, either.
