LOL.

"we'll be ok" get used to hearing that bobcat fans!

You should be used to it as well. I know your a fan of a sorry a** franchise. But anyways, they won't hear this if the bobcats change to the hornets? The lineup will still be sorry, and it'll still be some years before they're any good. Lol this NBA thing isn't for you.

As opposed to "its gonna happen, I can feel it!" #catchthebandwagonmovement

LMAO!

The only thing that I am sure is "gonna happen" is that somehow....someway....Jordan is going to screw up this draft.

He has done it in every other draft....he is destined to make the wrong decision.

Yeah you got me there. "Sorry ass franchise" is exactly how I would describe the Cubs. One of the richest American franchises out there. I bet the AAA Iowa Cubs are more valuable than the bobcats.

You should use that for a little insight regarding the bobcats. The cubs lose year in year out, have an owner I'd love to use as a putting green, make awful personnel decisions, yet they continue to have sell outs and rake in billions of dollars from corporate sponsorship and fan revenue!!! They also have the ability to attract desirable players and executives. Something we both know the bobcats are incapable of.

The seats at the top of the condos on Sheffield avenue, you know the ones that aren't even a part of wrigley field, I can promise you make more money yearly than anything at TWC arena.

Just more evidence, qualitative and quantitative, that if you have a successful brand = the money and fans will follow no matter how bad you are.

Boom!

And with all that they're still sorry and still utter that "we'll get em next year" phrase that you poke fun at bobcats fans for.

Lol all that typing and those lovable losers are still.....losers! A century of being shi**y. Who cares about all that other crap. Bahaha, "we suck yearly, joe but hey, at least we sell out."

He didn't make the wrong decision last draft.

He didn't make the wrong decision last draft.

Kemba is NOT a franchise player.....he is a downgrade to DJ. And Bismack is VERY limited offensively.

Not sure that either are truly going to be dominant players. Need another season to see what we have with Bismack. Neither are BUSTS, but neither are top players so far.

Who should MJ have picked?

Kemba averaged 12-13 ppg last year as a rookie. Why can't he get better and be a franchise player? I wasn't too impressed with any of the rookies last year, except Kyrie but he didn't drop to us. Bismack might've been a reach, but he'll bring an incredible defensive presence for years. We got some contracts coming off the books, so we'll be able to get a shot at some big name players. We're gonna probably draft top 5 next year, so we keep stockpiling talent. Boom, we're on the OKC route and turn this around

I would have rather kept DJ and gone a different direction than Kemba. By making that pick, they were basically saying that DJ was gone.

I am VERY anxious to see what MJ can do when the shitty contracts are finally off the books. We need to get Davis this year and sign a couple of vets.

    • be kind of hard with us going undefeated the rest of the year. yeah...i said it.
    • I don't think it's necessarily selfless to make that trade. I think it's all in how you plan and if you can objectively view the player. You know you're going to have a new coach and be taking a QB in the draft. Whether or not he wanted to admit it, we were going to be beginning a rebuild with a new offense and new defense. Depending on the coach, Burns may not have even been a good fit for the scheme that coach wanted to run.  So, if you're not 1st, you're going to need to trade up. Burns likely is going to want in the 30m per year range. While an effective pass rusher, he was never a complete DE. He wasn't a JJ, TJ, Bosa, or Garrett. He was more Reddick, and while good, never going to be in that top tier contract caliber.  So the question becomes, knowing that you need a QB to go with a new coach, is it better to have your  23, 24 and 25' 1sts  extra 24 and 25 1sts an extra 23'2nd  and 30m aav of future contract cap space to get a QB and edge rusher  Or your 23, 24 and 25 1sts and a good, but not elite DE on an elite tier contract.  6 picks and available 30m AAV in cap space vs 3 picks and 0 extra cap space to get a QB and a good, not great, DE.  To me that is a simple answer and frankly one that could potentially save my job. You have to have vision and be able to recognize value. Fitts over valued Burns like many fans did. I think ultimately what cost him his job was 3 years of not being able to value players correctly. We saw it twice in the draft in 2 separate years when he panicked and couldn't read the draft. DJ Johnson and Matt Corral picks specifically come to mind.  I don't think it was about being selfless as much as being a strategist. Neither Rhule nor Fitts never struck me as very strategic guys. I think they were more let's throw poo at the wall and see what sticks. Unfortunately for the fans, none of it stuck, but it still all stunk.
    • The issue is the formula is secret, and it incorporates runs... So... Yup, it does. Same with PFF (which isn't quite as secret). But when it doesn't - like on Sunday - it's often to hilarious results. PFF is more reliable I think at matching my 'eye' test.
