..those stupid mutherfeckers. If this is true not only are they the saddest excuse of a franchise the league has ever seen but they (just like with the bounty thing) believe they are above all the rules and entitled to special considerations.

They have the three biggest lottery-shock, came out of nowhere players of the last decade on their team and they fell into all three by trying their damndest do remain status quo, which for the Saints** means "mediocrity or worse" Brees is one of those guys. They took a flier on him because he was cheap and nobody else wanted him and it was an attempt to appease the bag heads by looking like they made an attempt. For them it cost nothing and they got arguably the best QB in the league.

Now they cannot pay for him and what? Its somebody else's fault? I cannot believe this is true but if it is I have found a new level of personal disdain, not casual fandom, but personal disdain for the franchise.
