Bucs Kellen Winslow Likely To Be Cut/traded

Any team will be lucky to have him but at what price.. I feel he will go to the highest bidder. If Carolina is to throw that kind of money around it shouldn't be on a backup tightend.

they didn't give shockey big money, they won't give it to Winslow.

Would have been a nice addition for a 7th. Shame we're trying to stockpile draft picks because we gave away 3rd.

Happens every year. Hurney boasts about his bold and unique philosophy of going BPA, then gets to the later rounds and panicks because he realizes he hasn't addressed our needs, so he panics and gives away high end draft picks next year for players he shouldn't.

Then furthered by the fact that it prevents from making us nice moves like this, because we supposedly build through the draft, then the cycle continues again.

Of course without failure it turns into a hurney sucks parade when we dont trade for an aging player with a bad contract lol.

If a huddler was an NFL gm they would trade for every single player that comes on the trading block regardless of any other circumstances. Just to say, hey I like to trade and everybody only trades good players right, or so they say on the internet!

Trading a 3rd for a promising WR Kick returner or a talented defensive end isn't the end of the world. Most 3rd rounders don't become starters anyway, but people act like he blew up the franchise.

Agreed. Mad that we don't trade up without sacrificing the future, mad when we do for a fair trade value. Thus is the Huddle fan.

We have done very well in the 3rd round, Hurney bust rate in the 2nd is horrible.

Will Witherspoon

Ricky Manning

Travelle Wharton

James Anderson

Charles Johnson

Charles Godfrey

Dan Connor

Brandon Lafell

All became starters for us, you were saying?

These are various opinion of the different people who post at the Huddle. It doesn't make sense to take all the opinions and try to attribute them to one fictitious person and claim it is contradictory.

Yeah, I was saying most 3rd rounders don't become starters because they don't. Hurney is better than most in the 3rd round and it still goes:

Starters: Witherspoon, Manning, Wharton, Anderson, Johnson, Godfrey, Connor,

Non-Starters (Less than a season for us): Seidman, Mathis, Ellison, Butler, Irvin, Edwards, Lafell.

It's a 7-7 push and that's being generous because Manning was mostly a nickel back while he was here and Connor only started when injuries hit.
