Chud would have most definitely would have pressed Rivera to tell him to. Chud and Winslow were extremely close in Cleveland and Winslow really wanted Chud to land the Bucs head coaching job.

I'm not saying they would have signed him based off of this but I wouldn't put it past the Panthers because they really like picking up guys that coaches are familiar with.

I don't think he would command that much due to him being on the back nine, but I see what you're saying. He would cost more than Shockey, that's an absolute.
