Tropical Storm Alberto May Affect South And North Carolina

The first tropical storm of the season has formed just off the coast of South Carolina. Tropical Storm Alberto continues to spin just offshore and will move very little over the next 24 hours. A few gusty showers may move onshore overnight and through the day tomorrow. Alberto is expected to begin moving northeast and away from us by Monday. Just a reminder, this is a low confidence forecast due to the slow movement of Alberto. If the current forecast holds, then we will see very little if any effects from Alberto. Stay tuned to the forecast and we will update as needed.
