Am I The Only One Who Feels This Way About This Defensive Player

I like Hogan, my cousin plays defensive back at WVU and played with Hogan, Sands, Tandy and all the other guys. He said Hogan is a really good player and a smart player.

He said what many of other people have said, if it wasn't for Hogan's ACL injury and his somewhat sketchy character issues he would have been a second to a third round pick.

I am excited to see what Hogan brings to our defense this coming season.

I may be wrong or it may be a little bit of hyperbole, but Captain was statistically the worst CB in the NFL last year, including many nickel CB's. He's proven alright, to be a huge liability.

He wasn't even close to the worst statistical CB in the league last year.

But still, we need better

You mean the only rookie corner we have lol.

Apparently Norman has started to make strides but I don't think he will see the field very much if at all this year.

In my opinion, we keep Gamble, Hogan, Butler, Munnerlyn, and Norman.

- Gamble starts

- Hogan starts

- Butler rotates in and out with Hogan

- Munnerlyn is our nickel corner.

- Norman sees limited action on defense, plays a lot of special teams, maybe a possible gunner as he is a pretty good tackler.

I guess that Rivera really likes him or have a lot of confidence in Cap or the overall defense since we didn't sign a FA CB or draft a CB in a higher round. I really wanted us to get Asante...

There is no way he has a lot of confidence in Cap after last year. Captain wasn't reliable in anything but nickel coverage last year.

Rivera must have a lot of stock in Hogan.
