We got lucky with our wedding. We found a guy that had been a sports photographer for many years and was just getting into the wedding biz. He used our pics to start his portfolio and did it for free. We had some awesome pics too and the overall quality was really good.

be careful.....cheap photographers can give you cheap crappy cheesy pictures.....I was embarrassed for some friends of mine..their pictures were horrible..

This....or misss the important stuff, like the bride wallking down the isle, etc.

But you can pay a lot and still get poo, so get good references.
