Marijuana Eases Multiple Sclerosis Pain

A study claims to have found evidence that marijuana could be an effective treatment for spasticity experienced by multiple sclerosis patients.

30 adult MS patients took part in the study.

Those smoking marijuana experienced a decrease of spasticity and pain by about 30 percent.

However, Nicholas LaRocca of the Natinal MS Society says smoking pot can also have "cognitive effects" and, therefore, is not the best solution to the problem.

People will look back at us a hundred (hopefully less) years from now and laugh this medicine and resource was completeley ignored other than in a negative light and purpose was for punishment rather than for healing. I hope I live to see it illegalized. Much more importantley, I hope I live to live to see tobacco made illegal and harsher penalties for driving under the influence of alcohol. Those two things have killed my whole family around me and made even myself ill as well and I don't even smoke or drink. I do smoke MJ every now or then though, it's funny and sad that I am looked at as the criminal.
