My vote for J-Stew is based strictly on this season being a contract year.

I also think that his receptions and receiving yards are going to take a hit from Tolbert.

I've talked to my boy who is good friends with Mike from CCU, and word on the street is Tolbert is going to see a lot more snaps than many people think.

I think we pump the most out of Stew this year

Yeah. I think right now Marty & company have a good idea of what they're going to do with Stewart after this season. Sure, their plan could change, but if they have no intention on resigning him Stewart could have a monster year. Just ride the crap out of him and get the most of him they can for one year.

It's similar to baseball when you see teams make a trade for a pitcher as they're making a push for the post season. An example of this was a couple years ago when the Brewers traded for CC Sabathia from the tribe. Sabathia's contract was up after the season and the Brewers knew they probably wouldn't be able to sign him so they just pitched him whenever they could.

I expect Stewart to get the rock plenty this year.

If Stewart has a 1200 yard and 10 TD season (plus sprinkle in 250 receiving yards and another couple touchdowns) J-Stew is going to command top dollar in FA. Young back hitting his prime, I would not be shocked to see a team like the Steelers or Bengals come out and throw an asinine amount of money at him. This could very likely be his last season in Charlotte, and like I said, if Hurney thinks this is going to be the case they need to feed him the rock early and often.

I think Tolbert is gonna see a lot of reps. That doesn't mean touches. But I wouldn't be shocked of he saw more snaps than Williams. Tolbert and Stewart both seem to "fit" what we do better

Never said he is going to see more touches. He will most certainly see more reps than Williams and Stewart based on the fact Tolbert is an everyday FB who can catch, block, and play ST. He excels in nothing but is good at many things.
