idk, i don't see that killer instinct from durant like i think i should.

don't get me wrong, he's great in the clutch. he just seems timid at times throughout games. that's why westbrook takes so many shots.

I actually agree. He's only 22 so he's got time to grow and develop, but I think when people act like he's arrived and is the best player they do him a disservice. He can continue to become a better defender, continue to become a better passer and facilitator (he averages more TO's than assists), and continue to drive to the hoop late in games rather than settle for 30 foot 3's. He did it at the end of Game 2 and it paid off big time. I also agree Westbrook gets "whipping boy" status so people don't have to point out Durant's flaws and shortcomings. A lot of games, Westbrook is more agressive than him and more impactful, but you rarely hear that.

Lebron and clutch in the same sentence don't belong. That dude is scared when the game is on the line. Kobe tenure is ending and I would like to see him get one more ring before his time is up.

The Lakers do what they have to do tonight behing 36 points by the Black Mamba.

Did he shoot 9/25 too and turn the ball over late? Is his team about to get swept out of the playoffs again? No. LeBron has nothing to do with Kobe choking the game away last nite? Even when Mr Clutch blows it Kobe apologists want to blame the MVP. LOL

The Haters who clearly understand nothing about Kobe's game will point out Kobe went 9/25 again tonight as he did in game 2.

So many of Kobe's attempts are a result of a head fake where the defender is airborne out of position and Kobe raises to shoot assured of the foul call. Tonight was a text book example resulting in 16 of 16 from the Charity Stripe. 36 points on 25 attempts is getting it done.

Bot Kobe only shoots at a 45% rate KG !!1!111!!1111

But about 90% from the free throw line.

All this is for not however as a win in OKC is a must for the Lakers if they hope to take this series after giving away game 2 on the road. Can they win on the road?

Also, kudos to Perkins and Co completely denying the Lakers big men position down low. When was the last time you saw Bynum or Gasol recieve an inlet low enough to turn and shoot an easy 7 footer? That will have to change if the Lakers hope to extend this series.
