the first 6 books of WoT are remarkably fun. 8 was the last one i read. i wish to god i'd stopped at 6. i'll look into sanderson.

SO I just googled TWoW because I haven't looked up much since the Theon chapter and the Arianne chapter had been released/read.

Apparently, back in February, GRRM read TWO Ser Barristan chapters at some event.

Do not read any further if you don't want to read spoilers about things going on after ADWD.

In the first Ser Barristan chapter, he is basically gearing up the knights he has trained/is training for their assault on the armies surrounding Mereen.

In the second chapter, the battle is going on, and Victarion arrives. At first Barristan thinks it is Balon, and then realizes he had heard that Balon died. He then thinks it might be Theon. Eventually, he realizes that whomever it is is fighting FOR his side.

So, it looks like Dany may

now have her fleet. But what happens when Victarion realizes Dany is MIA? At least it appears that business will finally be done in Mereen
