Game Of Thrones Grown Up Talk. Do Not Enter Unless You Have Finished All The Books

Yeah but think about this.  What kind of rotation on an axis would cause winters and summers to be so erratic?

I mean on Venus a day is the same now as it was 10,000,000 years ago.

It is part of a suspension of disbelief you have to carry when reading any fantasy fiction...

TBQH Martin could just say it was "magic" and wouldn't have to justify it by our known physics.

I've struggled with separating this, though, in my own worldbuilding. It isn't really fantasy though if there aren't fantastical things that occur there...

Question for everyone since this is my favorite thread in the sub forum and it's been dead for awhile.

What are some of the crazy theories you guys most believe to be true and why?

-I think Bran will eventually attempt to warg one of the 3 dragons either as an ally or foe to khaleesi. I don't think he'll ever come south of the wall again. This will take place with a war against the white walkers (fire and ice).

I just don't know who I think the 3rd dragon is, Bran's story has always interested me because we don't know the capabilities of greenseeing.

Sorry if I fugged up some terminology, haven't read or watched since last year. Need to get back in GoT frame of mind, psyched for this season.

Side note, anyone know anything about mobile, stand-alone HBO subscription?

supposedly people are taking it as Rolly Duckfield reference...

If Rolly Duckfield made it, then you are probably going to see the Griffs as surprise, unannounced castings...

FWIW I think, if anything, it could just be some trolling... I mean, Lena Headey posted a pic last year of a bunch of stones in the shape of a heart, and people thought she was hinting at Lady Stoneheart...

I'm not getting my hopes up.

I think the show might be skipping the Griffs, making Trystane Martell be fAegon (supposedly Aegon Targaryen (son of Rhaegar and Elia) like Young Griff in the books) and advancing that plotline by having Myrcella and Trystane be a match (politically binding the houses Martell and Lannister) for a Dornish claim to the Iron Throne.

But if not, and we do get a secret casting of the Griffs, well then Jaime might not be trolling after all.

FWIW it is a duck he's grabbing. But, you can take "duck" in a couple of contexts I suppose. It could be something as simple as "ducking" in a fight scene or something. IE. Someone dies by losing their head because they didn't duck. IE. Yours truly (heavily rumored the Bronn bites the dust in Dorne this season)

I think it could very much be like the Leena Heady thing from last year...And yeo, I've heard the rumblings about Trystane=fAegon with Jaime in a Duckfield role.  It could all be nothing though so I'm not getting my hopes up but I do think the show does some crazy deviation/fast forward this year that hasn't been discussed a ton yet.

I definitely think Bronn dies in Dorne though regardless.  Loses his head to Hotah methinks.
