Point is moot any way as a royal decree lifts Jon from his nw oath which is what we are arguing in the first place.

The North is part of the Seven Kingdoms under Lord Paramount Roose Bolton. A "royal" decree by a traitor King Robb doesn't lift him from any oath.

If robb is king in the north that means he and the north have seceded from the seven kingdoms.

It does in fact lift which. And it will lift him when the boltons loose to stannis and the rest of the northern lords rally behind their king Jon stark as left in king Robb's will.

Jon Snow will be king alright, but it is going to be king of the White Walkers riding an ice dragon. That is after they reanimate his dead corpse

Out of the two theories we both have said. How much would you bet on yours being the right one? Because I doubt you could Find any evidence to support that while theirs an overwhelming amount of evidence for the GNC

You ever wonder why the wall is 700 feet tall?  Seems a bit excessive to keep white walkers out.  Also, why is Melisandre who claims to know that Azhor Ahai is Stannis, who will destroy White Walkers is so scared that the Wall must not crumble?

She said “The Horn of Joramun? No. Call it the Horn of Darkness. If the Wall falls, night falls as well, the long night that never ends. It must not happen, will not happen!”

Perhaps that is because the wall is not what it seems to be.  It isn't a fortification to keep white walkers out, it is an ancient tomb of a full grown ice dragon.

Jon Snow has the blood to tame a dragon, and will lead a white walker army against Dany and the fire breathing dragons and her army

I've never heard this theory before, but I like it.

“ I pray for a glimpse of Azor Ahai, and R'hllor shows me only Snow.[4] ”

Doesn't seem to make much sense the red gods champion would work for the enemy does it?

That doesn't mean that Snow is Azor Ahai.

She wants a glimpse of Ahai but all she sees is Snow, that is not because John Snow is Azor Ahai, it is because he and his dragon can defeat R'hllor's champion.  Which is why Melisandre fears the falling of the wall so much.  She knows Azor Ahai can be defeated, and the thing that can defeat him, is inside the wall.

Mel has her own agenda and anything she says can't really be trusted anyways.

Her not wanting the wall to come down can be for any reason which I would say isn't clear evidence that their is an ice dragon in that wall.

Now I can link you the whole GNC if you'd like to do some lite reading

everyone assumes they're dead.  like sansa and arya who also have a claim.

also, legitimizing him would make him ned's heir, not robb's.   which would give him claim over the others.

its not going to happen though.

Ned wasn't King in the North, so being his heir means jack squat considering Bolton is the paramount house now.

As a realm if they're gonna rebel against Bolton they're better off doing it in support of a Manderly paramounty, considering White Harbor is far more important than Winterfell and also, still standing. At this point trying to install some completely landless Stark, no matter who, as the head of the North is just gonna set them back.

The GNC falls apart when you actually look at it through the lense of the feudalism Westeros is based on. Vassals give far less of a poo about what drop of blood or name their liege has than what's in it for them. What they get in return for the taxes they pay their liege.

If Jon breaks his NW vows and becomes the liege of the North, what does he offer his vassals in exchange for their taxes? Military protection with his dog? Food and trade?
