Didn't the Panthers give him two first-round picks for Sean Gilbert (which turned into Champ Bailey and Daunte Culpepper) and the Redskins still didn't improve under his tenure?

Elevated to General Manager in 1989, fired in 99 when Dan Snyder started calling the shots.

Lol some of you who are dogging Charley are the very same ones who kiss Hurney on the asshole. Casserly's ten years with the Redskins blows the doors off Hurney. Now granted, Casserly's record with Houston wasn't that great but you will have that with expansion teams. Keep in mind that it was Charley who drafted many of the key players in Houston's new found success. So point being, if you hold Charley's feet to the fire you better bring a torch for Hurney.
