underdogs to the skins?

Home field is suppose to be 3. That spread implies we would be favorites on a neutral field

Betting spreads change all the time based on how the teams perform. This is based on the off-season and draft. Since we weren't flashy we aren't going to favored in many games.

More important betting spreads aren't the same as whether Vegas things we will win or lose. It is the line they think they need in order for there to be even betting on both sides of the equation. Their goal is for the betting to even out so that no matter who wins, they make money.

Giants barely made the playoffs last year. They never are great during the season.

Saints** will alot tougher game!

i wouldn't say a lot...maybe at the Saints** toiletbowl but here i think it will be a much different story.

they are going to struggle. remember they will be using their 3rd string coach and they will be counting on lofton to tighten things up in the middle on D. plus...brees?

You dont think Brees can call the plays on O? Put down the pipe! As long as they still have Brees the O is gonna be tough!

There isnt much if any drop off in Lofton to Vilma.

They will be just as good as last year, and I actually expect their D to be better.

they won't be better. i can't for the life of me figure why anyone would think the Saints* would be better next year. anyone thinking that the penalties and the angst on that team won't have an adverse effect on them or that they won't miss payton b/c brees will be there is smoking a bigger pipe than me.

the past couple years they have barely squeaked by when playing here. the panthers offense will be better than next year. the defense will be better. the Saints* will be hurting on both sides of the ball, esp. the first half of the year.

sorry...but i'm not buying into the Saints*. i can't see how they will be anywhere near as competitive as they were last year. they need to be fearing the panthers going forward, not the other way around...esp. when they come to carolina. i expect that crowd to be louder than we have heard in a loooong time. considering the level of hate some of the players have for the Saints*, the bounty on cam, the cheap shots on smith....yeah, the panthers are going to do some serious damage against the Saints*. i expect it to be ugly.

Brees and Graham(sp?) are gonna rape our secondary.

They get a new DC (Williams was not doing good)

Its silly to think that Brees cant call plays on O.

Lofton easily replaces Vilma

So basically they lose one decent DE correct?

They will still be tough as nails. We will be lucky to split with them

you think that that brees and graham are going to do something they haven't done before? a new wrinkle or something? they went against what LBs last year? who was covering them?

sorry, i don't see them doing any better against us next year. in fact i think we'll be a lot more prepared. i'll take kuechly against graham all day, even as a rookie. and i don't care if i spelled his name right.

new DC won't have that much of an impact. they still have more scrubs. they played dirty because they didn't have the talent to do anything else. that was the only way those guys could stay competitive. i don't fear that defense, esp. in the first year of a new scheme.

i didn't say that brees couldn't call the O, in fact i'm looking forward to it. and i'll say that anyone who thinks they won't take a step backwards without payton is silly. they sure won't be better without him.

lofton is still no threat.

and they didn't lose a DC. they lost a head coach. and they lost their interim coach for half the season.

thinking that this doesn't matter much but the addition of their DC is going to make them better?

sorry. Saints* aren't going to be a cakewalk but tough as nails? not buying it. i see them the way they were before williams showed up. kind of scary on offense but overall pretty harmless.
