Jimmy cannot even get the respect of Huddlers

I highly doubt professional atheletes care how much fans on internet forums "respect" them.

I know its so easy and it's also the cool thing to trash Clausen, I was hard on him to during the 2010 season, but any other QB brought in with high expectations would have been groomed from day one. The coaching staff would have been mold their offense around the guy and doing everything possible to make that guy their QB for the next 15 years. John Fox didn't care. He knew he was gone. Even if he thought he had a chance to be resigned you have to ask yourself, Is John Fox the guy to develop a young QB? Probably not

didn't we trade up to get him too?

No he fell to us.

there were some whispers circulating after the 2010 draft that the panthers had tabled their 2011 first in an attempt to trade up for jimmy but had no takers. that's a nice thought.

That just gave me the worst pee shiver of my life.

There are so many unwarranted haters on here. Jimmy is a very average NFL backup. He's never gonna be a leader or a star but he will stick in the NFL. If Cam was put in Jimmy's situation we would be on the fence about him right now.

He isn't an average backup. He's not even a backup. He's an inactive QB. He's the worst excuse for a quarterback I've ever seen. He's so fuging terrible I don't know what to do with myself. I swear that if he ever sees the field again as the starter of a franchise I'll cut my own dick off and use it as a club to murder innocent puppies.

He gets his hair cut at super cuts.....and was shocked when the result was bad. Does that sound like someone who can make the right decisions to be a successful backup QB?

He is...by far...the worst quarterback that was ever given a start in the history of the NFL. It's not even close. Ever.

I leave for a while and this is the poo I come back to? People thinking Jimmy can be an "average backup" and one day be a starter for some other franchise?

WTF is going on here people? Less Jimmy more Cam, Beason, and Smitty

He cannot even get the respect of a Super Cuts stylist.

I am not worried if he has total disregard of an internet forum of Panther fans..point being is that he had leadership questions out of College...clearly in the pros and just has that "eek" quality as opposed to Cam's "It" Quality.

Even if he had at lest a Christian Ponder type season could tou really root for this guy...he is just really unlikable...and I am glad he failed so poorly we had to draft another qb....just unlikable...did I say Unlikable?!

Carr at least flashed and was actually decent at times... Clausen just never looked ready or comfortable...ever.. Clearly overmatched by every team he faced...he flashed some pocket mobility in preseaon against a bunch of UPS drivers and CFL prospects....but wasnt even good against them!

David Carr (hamburger helper) was pretty horrid....and he was a 1st overall.....

you gotta be fist fuging me

Carr had 3 times as many TDs with only twice as many picks, more than half a yard better per attempt, same completion percent, and was on an expansion team with not a lot of talent.

I'm not defending Pickles by any means, but given the amount of starts and a similar system....This would be a good argument. Both are horrible.

#1 I think it's safe to say EVERYBODY on the huddle is now willing to have Clausen start the first game of the season. Obviously you wouldn't follow through with your threat because all you do is talk poo on here.

#2 He's not even the worst QB to start for this franchise. Randy Fasani.
