Breastfeeding is by far the best option for your child, if you are physically able to produce milk, and opting out of it because you just don't want too is a very selfish act. There are many things in mothers milk, especially during the first three months, that just can't be replicated with formula.

Most women who breastfeed past a year or two actually seem to have some kind of mental disorder involving abandonment issues over pregnancy. Basically, they liked being pregnant and extended breastfeeding is a way to hold on to that.

If you want to see how moms justify it there are plenty of attachment parenting ladies over at the women's cult, the Charlotte mommies message board. The wife reads it, it's always good for a laugh. Some crazy women over there, makes our tinderbox look tame.

To expand on that, any mother that isn't willing to breastfeed their child, knowing that it is the best option, isn't ready to have a child in my opinion.....flame away.

tis your opinion, and I respect that. But these are my breasts and I shall do with them what I please. It may be selfish yes, but seeing that I was a formula only baby and I turned out just fine proves that not having breast milk won't fuging kill your baby.

my husband is fine with my decision and honestly that's the only opinon I give two shits about. I'm raising my kid, not you

I'm not even pregnant..but should I get to that stage in mylife, I'd be a damn good mother and just because I don't breastfeed my child doesn't prove otherwise

:) have a fantastic friday
