Well thats not going to make it any easier for me to pick up. :( I've been putting off reading it because I don't like seeing a movie and then reading the book. Lonesome Dove was that way for me. I heard nothing but great things and my brother even gave me his copy so I would read it. I had to toss it aside after half way through.

the book is great... GREAT. but it's insanely long.
