I read this article last night. My girlfriend is an alumnus of Ohio state and is a big fan of Mark Titus. He's extremely witty and very funny and most def has a future ahead of him with sports media. He's already written a successful book. He's known in Ohio as club tril.

The Blazers were built well with Roy, Aldridge, Oden, Wesley Matthews, Batum, Martell Webster,etc. they were just destroyed by injuries. Cho did a great job assembling that team. Injuries happen.

with the lack of talent we have i would love to sign oden and see if he can ever make it through a season, if he can he has shown the ability in the NBA to post double doubles on the court.

those Blazer teams were solid, when you cant play your #2 pick and you lose "roy" your best player and still competed every yr thats saying alot about the depth there. last yr they took dallas to 6 when no one else came close to stopping dallas. they have been pretty good for 5yrs till this yr

They didn't make the playoffs this year, but they were also decimated with injuries (Both Oden and Roy gone due to injury, and Lamarcus Aldridge had season ending surgery).

You mention the playoff series wins. They were usually a 1st round / 2nd round playoff exit. About on par with the Charlotte Hornets franchise that you so dearly want back

Oden wasn't just bad luck, it was a stupid pick by Cho. Given all that was known about Odens body leading up the draft, Durant was the obvious pick. Odens legs aren't even the same length. At the time I was amazed at how easily some were just brushing that under the rug like it was a minor red flag. At the bare minimum it was clear that the probability of him having major injury problems was much higher than for the typical player. The Blazers took a (poorly) calculated risk and it blew up in their face.
