Uh Oh...cris Carter Admits To Using Bounties During His Career

Recommended Posts

A number of other players have admitted being part of bounties.

No one else has said that it was organized and fully supported by the entire organization, to the extent they even took outside contributions to up the pool.

Is it really so hard to understand that key difference?

If this were a Panthers fan's thread, then my response would be:

Carter is an idiot for saying this considering he still hasn't been elected to the HOF. Shoulda kept this to himself until then...

Being that this is a Saints* fan's thread, I'll post this:

You're a pussy. Your team sucks and they got in trouble because the coaches and front office perpetuated the system. Walk it off and relieve your sandy vagina, biatch.

I'm going to turn this into an analogy test.

The Saints* are to Bounties as Martha Stewart is to:

A- Your Mom

B- Interior Decorating

C- Insider Trading

Martha didn't get a prison sentence for insider trading. She got it for 1) being arrogant as fug about it, and 2) because they wanted to make an example out of her. If she'd cooperated from the beginning, she would have gotten a slap on the wrist.

Sound familiar? Also, the Saints* took it to a whole another level by having it be coach organized and funded.

You can whine all you want about the injustice of being the example, but remember the NFL fuging warned the Saints*. I worked in a 1st grade classroom for a year, and even they understood if you did something after being explicitly told not to, the punishment was going to be significantly more severe.

Carter just clarified it on Mike and Mike. All he was doing was asking his offensive line to stand up for him when another player threatens him and hits him illegally or late. Not to intentially hurt them. Then rewards them for it. OP fail.

it really is unbelievable that Saints** fans are that fuging stupid.

Not really.

If you have ever met any of them, you would find it VERY BELIEVABLE that they are this fuging stupid.

Swamprats will always be swamprats.
