Cowherd Says We Go 7-9

Recommended Posts

it's really too early to make predictions. after training camp and preseason we should have a pretty good idea if this is a playoff caliber team or not.

i would say it has the potential to make the playoffs although a lot has to go right. i don't see it as a team so stacked in talent that playoffs are nearly guaranteed. we are just too thin at key positions for that to be the case.

gamble gets hurt we have one of the worst secondaries in the NFL. CJ gets hurt we have the worst DLine. Smitty gets hurt our WR corps looks really bad. Cam being injured would be a disaster of course. Although losing your franchise QB would kill any team some of the elite teams in the league are stacked at other positions to where losing guys isn't that big a deal. I don't see us being in that position. we need some young guys to step up, be fairly injury free and win our share of close games.

When it comes to prognosticating a team's win-loss record, unlike some in the Huddle, Cowherd will admit when he was way off the mark. You have to take what these national types say with a grain of salt, because due to their time constraints they are compelled to rely on highlights, local analysts and beat reporters for an appreciable part of their analysis. I'm not going to nail Cowherd to the cross any more than any of the others.

Cowherd is really ignorant on this.

We won 6 games last year with a rookie qb, injury riddled D, terrible ST's, and learning a new system.

So getting back Beason, Davis, Edwards, Gettis,Hogan and adding Kuechly, Amini, Alexander, Adams, and Norman is only good for ONE more win?!?!? GTFO

Not to mention ST's getting revamped!

All that ALONE is worth 2 - 3 more wins.

I see us winning 9 - 12 games easy.

Maybe it is just taking him awhile to warm up to our additions. For example: Dash during draft-What in the fug?, Who are these fuggers?, Hurney is a fug!, But Tommy Streeter is 30 feet tall and runs a 2.2 40.

Dash 2 weeks after the draft- 9-12 wins easy #mufuginSuperbowl. Maybe Cowterd will come along too.

Naw, I def knew who our players were. Just wanted a pass rusher in the first 2 rounds. Love our additions though.

Cowherd is just plain ignorant. He must think Beason and Davis had career ending injuries and that Edwards is a scrub.

Not to mention no improvement in year 2 of a new system / coach.

9 - 12 wins EASYYYYYYYY
