Cowherd Says We Go 7-9

Recommended Posts

if our ST and D were in the neighborhood of being almost average.....we would have made the playoffs last year.

If Cam gets hurt early. We will be looking at 3 wins or so....

I start every season at 8-8....will move up or down once preseason starts and we know what we got

Damn....if not for 3 special teams blunders, we would have been 9-7 last year.

The defense WILL be much better. The ST WILL be much better.

If our offense does not suffer big injuries and/or Cam does not get hurt/regress.....there is no way we are 1 game better.

Still saying 9 or 10 wins.

Dude i've been following the panthers since day one and i've been to a few games. Hell i went to stinking Clemson to see them play. I remember who scored the very 1st touchdowns in preseason and the reg. Do you? Without googling? I doubt that very much.

Bob Christian? Or was it Bob fuller. Pretty sure it was Bob the fullback.

^^^^blind squirrel and all that...

True as that may be, he found the nut. Not saying we're going 7-9 though. This team is much improved from last year. Of course I didn't hear his analysis over the radio. Not sure if he pointed out the defensive players coming back, how the ST has been over hauled and how the same ST cost us at least 3 games. Could have had a better record.

I take what he says with a grain of salt really.

If Colin Cowherd predicted that we were going to go to the Superbowl, I'd have the same feeling that I have about what he said about us going 7-9. I'd print out the manuscript of what he said and wipe my ass with it.

That dude is Garbage!

We got some new special teams players but I won't count on improvement until it actually happens.

I like being cautious too. But I also recognize when change happens and improvement occurs. Compared to last year, this special teams unit is already improved. At worst it's average. That's at worst. Last year it was horrendous, you can't deny that.

Wow. This may be the most negative fan base on the planet. New coach , new system, no camps, tons of key injuries last year and most of our loses were one score last possession type loses and we still went 6-10 and you guys are saying 8-8 and 9-7 typs ish? PFFFFFF. The talent and staff is there, with chemistry this team can do whatever they want, its that simple....chemistry.

Funny, Panthers FO advised he wasn't even as far as Otah was in his rehab. That simple fact that he is still rehabbing an injury should tell you that it is a FACT he is not currently 100%

Got a link for that?

Otah has been rehabbing for two fuging years so I doubt Beason is anywhere close where Otah is. By the way, Einstein, they both suffered two completely unrelated injuries.

I've said from the get go that 9 will be our minimum. Team has improved, getting players back, and most importantly, the team and coaching staff have a real off season together.

Like I said earlier, Cats won 6 games last year with the hardest schedule in the NFL at the time of it's release. They were in most of the games they lost and it came down to 1-2 plays or a missed FG. If Cam is healthy, 10 wins is a strong possibility.

I am with this guy, how does Colin watch just a handful of panther games and all of a sudden he's a expert at prediction for the up coming season. Anything can happen for any team any given season and that's just the way it is. Thats why there are surprise teams that are 5-0 and surprise teams that are 1-4 you just don't know
