So I Didn't Apply For This Job...

With some company called North Carolina Marketing Solutions, yet they scheduled an interview with me on Monday. I' never heard of these people and apparently from one review online, they basically make you go door-to-door selling TV services. They were incredibly vague when I was talking to them about the position (Management Trainee).

My big red flag is me never applying for the position, yet they had my resume. This ish is too weird....

Even applying to this job was deceptive; The company will tell you next to nothing about the position in the application or over the phone. It turns out what the company, all the company does is go to a list of generated leads whom can receive AT&T U-verse in the Raleigh area and both them to change their television service. The interview is very easy and it sounds like they will hire anyone for this spot.

From here

Even in my research into the place, I couldn't find much. But I did find that from a website

Knocking on doors, selling TV, sounds like what my former neighbor did for Uverse.

He said, he ahd to make "X" number os sales calls, even in areas that weren't served by Uverse. And was expected to close "X" number of customers based on sales calls. He said the only good thing was that he got to smoke pot between seles calls.

He said by the end of the day he was telling people, "Do you want to buy a new way to watch TV and dump TWC? Good, I'll show you how. Of course, it won't be in this area for 6 months to a year. "
