I love Smitty, but this is EXACTLY why it'll be hard for him to be inducted in the HOF.

And that is EXACTLY what I LOVE about SS. He doesn't give a fug about what others think. He lives HIS life. He not a politically correct Peyton Manning douche who has never seen an endorsement he didn't like. Smitty is a real man- not a corporate representation of a person.

Naw Steve can be a bully and a jerk. He got in one of the WFNZ guys face real bad over nothing really. He has always been an enigma. Sometimes he can be very nice and other times he's guarded and rude. He loves to sign autographs at various Panther events but if he's short on time he signs for "kids only". I'm always on edge around Steve. He's like a tiger at the zoo. Docile but you never know when he's gonna maul someone.

Jordan is a very nice guy but Steve is much more accessible to the fans then Jordan.

He's pretty unbalanced, but then people should know that by now.

Except Cam IMO. I think different rules apply to someone like him. Smitty doesn't have to talk to people. I think Cam does to a degree

I also know a sports writer with AP credentials and he said Smith is a major asshole. To be fair, the guy is a fan of an NFL team from the NE but lives and works in the charlotte area.

Anyone who thinks the players owe something o the public are wrong IMO. They should all shun them outside of the QB doing a mandatory post game PC, and anyone thinking the media clowns give a sh-t about he players or the public are dead wrong. All they care about is their "job"

smitty goes to the same gas station that i go to all the time and he's the nicest dude ever. I think he has a beef jerky obsession thoa because everytime i see him he's buying like 4-5 bags of jack links beef jerky
