Anybody Have Nfl Rewind?

Recommended Posts

I was thinking about subscribing to it because I like the idea of going back and watching all of last years games with the different angles(especially the all 22 where it shows you every player on each play). My main concern is my desktop won't support it(older Mac mini) and does not appear to work on the iPad. I'm not tech savvy but I noticed flash 10.2 was required and to my knowledge macs don't do flash at all right? Thanks to anyone who can offer insight or knowledge.

14.99 month, seemed well worth it for just about everyone on this site. We all share the common bond of being too obsessed with the panthers/ football. Good way to get a fix in the offseason and study our young team. Seems like 1 month would suffice, if you archive the games forever I'd be willing to pay a higher one time fee. Also if I did upgrade to like the latest Mac mini or iMac would I be able to some how store those things on my comp forever or do anything else cool with it? Come on tech pros, chime in!

I had the service all last year and the year before. What do you want to know?

Quality is excellent, controls are excellent, hmmm not sure what to tell you other than that if you want to watch replay's of games first class, THIS is how you do it. I saw the 15 dollar thing and thought about getting it but I'll wait and get it again next season anyways when its 40 bucks at the start of the year.

as far as macs go, dunno.

So this is the closest way for us fans to basically check tape like coaches do? I've never heard of this but it sounds badass.

Badass indeed. I'd rather study that in my downtime than watch 90% of b.s on tv. Guess its not gonna work on the Mac I have so this is probably going to push me over the edge on buying a laptop. Anyone have recommendations on a good lap top for just basic websurfing and Microsoft works that would have good video display?

Ill tell you this man, for 15 bucks, they are begging people to use it.

You will need the bandwidth, the more the merrier. I wouldnt run it over 4g but it will buffer and probably do ok if you set the resolution down to the min. You will need the hardware to run in, nothing spectacular, but you will need a system that is newer than when Dan Morgan used to get concussed for us on a daily basis.

The quick rewind/fastforward 10 second buttons are nice but what is even more interesting to use is the feature that shows fan reaction each play. It allows you to look at the time scale of an entire game while seeing the high and low the important plays (bad, good, td's, ints, close calls, etc.). . . .Its like xray vision for the entire game. . . . with no bewbs though. YOu can click right on any play that has a high fan index to instantly start watching the game at that point.

Dont ask me about the how they come up with the fan index thing. . or the no bewbs.

Toshiba is usually a safe brand for laptops, stay away from hp.

I actually just got it after seeing this thread and trust me, it's a great deal. Get the $15 package and you still get the '09 and '10 season. Obviously there is no Carolina game anyone would want to see from 2010 but there are some gems from '09 such as the Minnesota game. On top of all of that, you get NFL Redzone and NFL Network. It's a shame it ends at '09 though. I'd love to go back and look at our games from the '08 season.

However, you'll need to make sure your Internet connection will be able to hold up.

EDIT - Oh and you can look at past Super Bowls as well, including ours.

Just found out through some research that the all 22 angle is only available on select plays. That sucks IMO. Be nice to see what's happening with each individual player on every play. On tv they cameras just follow the ball which is great, but when going back to study the film and break it down it would be nice to see the action away from the ball.
