Remember When We Held Kc To 35 Yards Rushing?

Recommended Posts

I was at that game.

Me too, it was awesome! I've only been to four, so it was pretty special for me. My brother and his wife came up to visit and the three of us went - it was her first pro football game. I sat next to a guy who had to be 375 LBS. I'm 6'2, 190, so we had no room. It's all good, though, we had a LOT of fun talking to each other, he was a cool guy.

Thanks for bringing this up, I have a lot of fond memories of this game!

I was at that game as well & man was it awesome. When it's your team & they talk about it's a better game when it's close...don't think so. The total domination was amazing in the stands. Both sides of the ball were awesome. Can't wait to see who we do something like this to this year!

The bad news is Ron Edwards was playing for KC then...

I seriously have 'never' understood the Ron Edwards love. I will be surprised if he sees more playing time that Shirley this year, well, maybe more than Shirley (since it seems like Rivera is not as high on him as McClain & Kearse), but Kearse will probably get more playing time. I like Kearse & Shirley, but feel Shirley is a very good DT. I don't want to see Fua at all this year.

Do you have any earthly idea how bad the chiefs sucked that year?

Carolina defense scored 32 points in fantasy for me that day.

Larry Johnson had 4 yards on the day.

They had 35 rushing yards total.

And 95 Passing Yards...

Just imagine if our defense just gets close to what it was a few years ago :) Can't wait to see what R. Rivera does with Beason, Keuchly, Anderson, T. Davis, and Charles Johnson.

Wow, great memories. I went to every game that year.

Me too- meaning every home game plus I was at week 1 in San Diego. I thought I was a lucky charm that year until I went to the Arizona debacle. Took me two years to get over that.

2008 regular season was something to behold though. The only thing that can top watching the Panthers win 9 games live in a season would be to watch them win a playoff game live.

I bought mine before the 2006 season so I'm 0-1. Really hope that changes this year
