So apparently you are unable to suspend belief and enjoy a movie about Super Heroes in a comic book universe, because of the non-realistic story lines?

Wow, you must hate all science fiction movies. And anything that has to do with magic.

That is a bit sad, knowing that you will never be able to enjoy a movie if it is not completely realistic and believable.

Like the poster formerly known as Dragon, I was concerned about Ruffalo but I think he was the best Hulk yet.

Only part I liked was Hulk, the rest just kinda bleh. They should have had Loki or someone revive the villains from the other movies and form the Masters of Evil

A masters of evil movie would have been horrible. Way too crowded. Marvel did a great job here.

The best part about it is that the success of it will likely keep hollywood from just retelling origin stories over and over and over again and move on to some of the deeper parts of the marvel universe.

And on that same subject, expect several more shitty X-Men, Daredevil, F4, Ghost Rider, Punisher, Spider-man, etc. movies and reboots in the coming years just because FOX and Sony have to exercise the film rights or they revert back to Marvel. The only rights Marvel has that would be of interest to anyone besides the Avengers that we've already seen are Black Panther, Luke Cage, and Ms. Marvel.

Ant-Man seems to be the front runner for the next spot from what the interwebs has been saying.and I think that's probably for the best. I like Black Panther, but he's too all around likable and his brawling fighting style would possibly be too similar to Cap (and steal some of Cap's thunder in the H2H combat department in regards to screen time)

Ant-Man is very different from the other Avengers in the movie-I think he'd provide a lot not only to the relationship dynamic between the team, but also add a different fighting dynamic to any battles they had.

Plus, he was referenced in Thor, so there's that.

I'm not a big Ant-Man fan, but it just seems like he is the lead spot for the second 2014 film.

I thought the villain in the Avengers sucked, and Samuel L. Jackson was a parody of himself as usual, but the rest was awesome. Would love to see a group of three or more bad guys instead of one with the stupid alien army behind him BS.

Saw it again tonight. This time with my daughter. She loved it and she isn't really a comic fan.

I loved the scene when Loki was pontificating and Hulk grabs him and tosses him around like a rag doll.

Hulk really stole the show. Going in, that was the one character that I was murky about and wondering how they would fit him and him towards the end was fuggin epic. Ruffalo is a great actor...always thought he was a great secondary guy in Eternal Sunshine and Zodiac really is great.
