Um i forgot about the playoff blunder. I do not want this guy. My argument was to bring in a veteran to do KR since drafting people in the past flat out has not worked.

I think if we hadn't drafted Joe Adams, we would've had real interest. But I think we're probably too full at the moment with Smith/LaFell/Gettis/Pilares/Adams/Ajirotutu or UDFA

When talking about the UDFA signings in a radio interview, Hurney said that they are specifically looking to bring in guys with a combo of size and speed. Jones fits that mold as well. Makes sense, as Smith, Pilares, Adams are all quite small. Hurney also mentioned something like "...because we didnt draft a receiver..." - As in he views Adams as a returner only, at least to start.

I don't think I have ever seen someone with these type measurables look so awkward on the field.

That is the problem with combine numbers...some guys just can't translate talent into on-field production. Another blatant example is Cam vs Gabbert. They had near identical combine numbers, but they are light-years apart in their athleticism on the field.
