How Would You Feel If You Were Accused, Convicted And Sentenced

Recommended Posts

Mr Scott,

Thank you for providing the link. The Statement made by the NFL is proof enough to me. I have google fit several different ways and came up with nothing. I recommend that u start a thread with the link, or even the entire document.

That statement leaves no doubt whatsoever that these fugs were as guilty as I thought. I just needed something other than hear-say all over ESPN's airwaves.

Again Thank You Mr Scott for providing that info. I also agree wholeheartedly with the post in which I just quoted.

Good enough.

Are the Saints*** being railroaded?

http://militarytimes...no-commercials/

If they are, then explain why Payton, Williams and Hargrove have already admitted to it?

You sound as dumb as your buddy Darren Sharper... first they didn't do it, then they did it but everybody else is doing it, now we're back to claiming they didn't do it?

Today, Sharper decided to admit they were doing it but attempted to defend that by saying nobody told him to stop. LOL!

This whole thing is like lifting up a rock and watching the roaches scatter.

Actually look up who the source is, don't be dumb.

Every player was given an opportunity to speak to the commissioner. NONE did.

I know exactly who posted the tweet. Just wanted to see something official in black and white. I'm satisfied. Mr. Scott hooked it up. And did so with class. You could learn a thing or two from him

DP is a good poster.

We're all a little testy these days.

TCF, while I find it admirable you want to see some evidence firsthand, it is pretty sad you think just because something doesn't show on the first page of your Google search it didn't happen. Half of this thread told you the same effing thing over and over again. Some of us actually pay attention to what goes on in the NFL and don't need others to do our research for us.

Once again, I'm not defending the players in question, nor am I defending their (if true) grotesque actions. I am questioning the process, and requesting that you have an open mind and imagine if it were our players.. How would u feel about it?

We don't know and probably will never know the absolute truth... Which is truely a shame. With as much money as we the fans pour into the League, I think we're owed this.

Why is the League being so discreet about this? Why not publish all the documents? That's what has me doubting anything at all. I can't be anymore clear than that.

dude believe me (as a recent law school grad)

the nfl has very smart attorneys that work for them

rest assured the players received due process

This is why I believe it.

"Saints*** linebacker Jonathan Vilma is suspended for the entire 2012 season, and his season-long suspension actually begins right now: He’s banished from the team’s facilities effective immediately. But he didn’t find out about that from the NFL. He found out on TV.

That’s the word from Saints*** quarterback Chase Daniel, who wrote on Twitter that he was there with Vilma when the word came down, and Vilma learned at the same time as millions of NFL fans.

“I was standing right next 2 @jonvilma51 when he found out abt his suspension ON @SportsCenter. Really? He has to find out about it that way?” Daniel wrote.

It is surprising that the NFL wouldn’t inform Vilma (or, presumably, suspended players Anthony Hargrove, Will Smith and Scott Fujita) personally, and would instead simply issue their statement on the suspensions and let the players find out through the media. The NFL’s plan appears to be to have no contact whatsoever with Vilma, starting now."

Vilmla likely received a letter from the NFL. He was just unable to find someone to read it to him.
