How Would You Feel If You Were Accused, Convicted And Sentenced

Recommended Posts

I have to ask you OP why do you keep coming on this site and pleading your case as if we give a fug about you or your team? You are not going to convert us into taints fans and we are not going to spontaneously start liking you. Is it a perverse pleasure in being abused is that it? Just do yourself a favor and go away, stay with your own putrid kind and post on the taints report when it is up.

If your'e truly innocent, you're not going to be a thug and post the magazine claiming your guilty as your picture on Twitter, then shut down the NFL when they come to get your side of the story. I'm sure we're going to see soon what cards the NFL has, if they waited years to bring a case up, I doubt they just have hearsay evidence.

Once again, I'm not defending the players in question, nor am I defending their (if true) grotesque actions. I am questioning the process, and requesting that you have an open mind and imagine if it were our players.. How would u feel about it?

We don't know and probably will never know the absolute truth... Which is truely a shame. With as much money as we the fans pour into the League, I think we're owed this.

Why is the League being so discreet about this? Why not publish all the documents? That's what has me doubting anything at all. I can't be anymore clear than that.

Eventually most of the information will be revealed.

Vilma in the end will be like the rest. Liars. Lying has brought the hammer down on them.....some still haven't figured that out

A shred of evidence requested and a chunk was given...TCF don't argue with something if all you're requesting is a 'shred' of proof.

Not all evidence is or can be presented until trial for obvious reasons.

Also lets remember private organizations are not the government there are no rights and no 'due process'. Also saying the constitution means anything is silly. Politics and law is just one pile of loopholes around vague, broad wording bullshit.

I don't see how the league owes us anything. I mean if it upset folks that much they can easily choose not to follow the nfl. I also don't buy for a moment that the league didn't notify these players ahead of time. Where's the proof of that? Just because someone tweeted doesn't make it so. Goodel knows good and well that these suspensions will be appealed and that there will be lawsuits from the players involved, it's obvious he has what he feels is more than enough evidence to support the suspensions.

I think I can sum up my feelings towards the Tainst and their fans with the above image. They lied douchebags. They tried to cover up what was happening. That trumps everything they did or didn't do. Screw you guys and your forever tainted superbowl.

ESPN has been reporting all day that at least one of the suspended players signed a declaration that he participated in the bounty scheme

THEY HAVE PROOF... GET OVER IT.

I believe that was Hargrove. Report was that he got a longer suspension because he lied... And has subsequently admitted his participation.

If you actually believe in Ron Paul's politics, you would know that the Libertarian philosophy would have no fault with what the NFL is doing. They are a PRIVATE CORPORATION. They have the right to do as they please, and any interference from the government would be an infringement on those private rights. The NFL doesn't owe you a damn thing, it doesn't owe the Saints a damn thing, and no one can do a damn thing about it.

(/not a Libertarian, or Republican, or Democrat)

I could care less about the players if it's determined that what they've been accused of its true. I have an opinion and a right to express it. Don't you think I didn't already know it wasn't going to be popular? It doesn't change that this is how I feel.

And no one spoke to you at all during the process. If this doesn't send shivers down your spine then you are not being honest. Both J. Vilma and W. Smith have publicly stated that

Smith:Through this entire process, the NFL never notified me of what I was being accused of, nor presented me with any evidence or reasoning for this decision. I am interested in discovering who is making these specific and false accusations, and as well as why a decision was made without speaking with me

Viloma:"I am shocked and extremely disappointed by the NFL's decision to suspend me for the 2012 season. Commissioner Roger Goodell has refused to share any of the supposed evidence he claims supports this unprecedented punishment. The reason is clear: I never paid, or intended to pay, $10,000, or any amount of money, to any player for knocking Kurt Warner, Brett Favre or any other player, out of the 2009 divisional playoff game, 2010 NFC Championship Game, or any other game.

OP is just another sad Saints* Fan or player who continues to justify and lie about what they did.

If there is a such thing as karma, Brees would be carted off the field early this season. I am not wishing injury on him, but that franchise deserves the very same outcome that their pathetic behavior was attempting to inflict on other players.
