How Would You Feel If You Were Accused, Convicted And Sentenced

Recommended Posts

I tend to agree with you on this. I'm not outraged about the punishments or their severity but it's just a bit odd how this has been done. If you step out of the weird world of the Huddle you get the sense that most people question the way this is being handled.

You simple aren't going to have an intelligent or unbiased conversation about this here.

When I step out of the world of the Huddle and enter the real world in PA, no one gives a poo about the Saints**** or talks about bountygate.

Side note. Zod should make the word "Saints**" treated like fug. Anyone that types "Saints**" should be automatically changed to Saints*** .

Edit: Looks like that has already been done. Saints*

Xtherox... Again, you're not telling me anything I didn't already know. I just needed to see it.

trucatzfan .. again stop getting your butt hurt .. it's an Internet forum .. no one is questioning your intelligence (or lack thereof)

wow. there is nothing wrong with wanting to see the fine print.

likely its the difference between "Mike Vick ran a dog fighting compound" and "evidence was found of electrocution, strangulation, starvation, and death by severe head trauma"

most people like to hear the details. wtf is the problem?

If my 2 bosses were fired or suspended for doing X.....and the company has advised they heard I was involved and were review me asking if I would like to come speak/explain myself?

I wouldnt complain about being fired if I opted to remain silent.

Vilma didn't want to speak for 1 simple reason. He has no idea what the commish has...hard to go into the NFL office and lie about not being involved when you have to idea of the commish's cards/evidence. Sign that heavily points to Vilma being a liar.....and most athletes commenting are being dumb

Not wanting to beat a dead horse (where is that smiley when you need it??) But to discuss the question of whether or not Vilma knew before hearing it on ESPN ....

Didn't the NFLPA mention in a statement just yesterday that there were letters to each of the 4 players that they had read? Isn't that what started the dribble about there not being evidence to support the suspensions? How did the union see the letters and the players did not??

After seeing the NFL’s decision letters, the NFLPA has still not received any detailed or specific evidence ...

I doubt they sent those letters with just a postage stamp.

We are gathered here today to bid goodbye to this thread, it has been a good thread for some who chose to mock its OP. It has given us many laughs at the expense of another and some heated exchange between members. This thread has given us insight to the total stupidity obtained by the saint’s fans, but alas it is time to let it pass. To pass as if we had all just farted it the wind for we know that breezingtoanotherSB is just full of it.

Apparently favre and other former players are totally irrelevant in the eyes of the nflpa. For the nflpa to fiercely defend players whom sought out to purposely injure other players and reward for major injuries, that says all you need go know about that organization.

It sounds even more ignorant when players themselves advocate this in tweets and interviews as normal and okay and everyone does it. If the shoe is on the other foot though, who thinks they would be totally okay with having their career and possibly their income ended for a few thousand dollars and one game win?

At the end of the day I have a hard time feeling sorry for anyone in all this.
