Bucs Sign Paralyzed Former Rutgers Player Eric Legrand

I don't see the point of this. I already knew about LeGrand and spinal injuries before the Bucs made this move. Also I'm not sure what miracle cure they're going to find for spinal injuries. And it's not really something that should be given priority. There's enough genetic diseases around and cancers that people can end up with without putting themselves at risk.

And even if you ignore all those there's people starving in the world. Spinal injury research would not be at the top of places I'd donate to.

I guess the Panthers should go sign some paralyzed players for the publicity. And maybe they can sign one of the children in Joseph Kony's army and they could posthumously sign Trayvon. We're gonna be the talk of the town.

Am I the only one who thinks this is stupid? The nfl and the bucs are a business not charities. If he wanted to put him on his staff I'd be fine with that, but signing him is a waste of money that doesn't belong to the head coach.
