Who Is Going To Lead This Locker Room?

thomas davis is going to be some inspiration for the team . not sure of how much leadership capabilities he has though.

it's not an either/or situation more so than it is what group of leaders currently exist on the team to help continue the tone Cam set last year...

Beason is an unquestioned leader, you know he's ready to fight for this team.. Smitty has spoke the last few years about stepping up in this fashion and without a doubt he has.. Gross has been a leader and even set up team practices last year during the lockout that generated great participation.. Also, Anderson was asked to step up to lead the defense last year.. Shockey set a nice tone as well (come back to us!).. An article on Ron Edwards focused on how he was still there to lead our young DTs...

as for Keuchly, leadership isn't appointed or awarded without earning it first.. And I don't see how he's going to earn more respect in that locker room than Beason until he retires, kills somebody, or leaves for another team...

I believe the extent of Davis' leadership is keeping the young players focused.. which is important for guys like Beason and Cam..

Team leadership is more about family dynamics than it is 3 guys with a patch on their jersey..
