Cam's team from here on out IMO. He was brought in to be the leader, is the QB, and now has his rookie season behind him...

Every unit needs leaders.

Just because you get injured doesn't mean you are no longer the leader. It's been Beason's team ever since he was the one to have the balls to call Peppers out on his effort, or lack thereof.

Calling out Pep in that manner wasn't leadership....

Love Beason. He learned something in that process. Wasn't a good moment.

Using the media to call someone out and not going to them and addressing it in house was his

youth showing....

No way keekly even attempts to take a leadership role his first season, maybe a co-captain in a few years, but , imagine being Beason and some rookie tries to take over YOUR team. What would u do?

Cam is a natural leader. He had to force him to stay on the sidelines last year from a leadership standpoint.

Cam is what the locker room needs. Sure, Beason is an awesome leader, but after last season, and seeing what Cam could on the field, seeing Cam put us in place to win 9-10 games (Special Teams blew those games)... Cam is the new leader of the team, both on the field and off.
