Would you want him? I believe he was a 2nd round pick in 07.

quote from the article

"Former coach Cam Cameron decided to start Beck -- after giving him less than two weeks of repetitions with the first-team offense -- in the 11th week of a winless season, only to see his rookie fall in four consecutive games behind a depleted offense.

He finished his time in Miami having completed 60 of 107 passes with three interceptions and one touchdown".

I would love to see him sit behind Jake and learn and observe a couple of seasons. If nothing else, we could mold him into a decent backup QB and he might be able to compete with more for the starting job later own down the line (assuming they develop enough to be a starting QB).

So a team dropped him and he's automatically a better solution for our team than an 8 year starter, Josh McCown and Matt Moore? Wow, let's sign him...

Incredible...

hes not gonna be better solution than jake, but if we can get him for cheap why not let him compete for a backup role? if he outperforms the guys we got then we added some better depth to the position. if not then he gets cut again.

He's in his late 20s at least, went to BYU so I don't think he even started playing college football til like 24. I trust Parcells, and for them to have drafted Chad Henne last year, and then pick up Pat White and already declare him the QB of the future 2 days later without any camp competition.....Beck must be pretty bad.
