9-7 At Worst

last year reminded me of Butch Davis first year at UNC. Only won 4 games but we were in every game unlike previous years. You could tell change was coming. Next year we doubled our win total.

i think we will see a huge improvement W-L wise.

I just got this gut feeling we win those first 5 games. The later half teams will adjust and we'll have some games that'll be a cmon man type thing. We never do against the Raiders, and they will be dirty. Also we have to travel across the country for San Diego. I say we only go 1-3 against AFC West, and then 4-2 within the division, and we sweep the NFC East, maybe drop to Dallas for historical reasons, so yah 9-7 or 10-6, which oughta be good enough to win division this year.

Lol they can't stop us at all with the STs scrubs that will be starting for them, and if our D# and STs are even marginally better, we will beat the Saints** that first game for sure. Second game I can't call for sure so I just called a split.

Is Brees not playing or something?

U have us beating the Giants i was week 3? I believe we will be between 8-8 and 10-6 but beating the giants is a bold prediction

Beating the Giants aint happening, splitting with the Falcons 1 and 1 more likely.

Guarantee our D# and STs will be in better shape than theirs, and you'd better believe the Panthers will field a top 5 offense.

Like the other poster mentioned. Brees will shred our D apart. Getting back Edwards and Beason will do little in regards to stopping the Saints passing attack.

We will also have a good offense, but the thing is I expect us on O to falter / have a lapse before Brees and company do.

Until proven other wise, we got to greatly improve our pass rush and secondary before I put us ahead of the Saints.

Not trying to troll but it seems most here are chalking up a sweep over the Bucs when their offense is geared to attack the Panther defensive weakness to a T. They have revamped their offensive line and i'm sure they will pound the ball with Blunt and Martin against a very weak Panther front four...Not to mention 6'5 V. Jackson on 5'8 Cap' Munnerlyn.

Actually you do troll quite a bit but we are used to it. You assume that they have improved exponentially and we haven't. We kicked their butt with backups and scrubs on defense. This year just getting our starters back will improve the defense quite a bit plus last years rookies will have a year under their belts. Blunt didn't do squat last year against a very poor front and won't again. Martin is really not all that so he is no big worry. As for Jackson he will be lined on Gamble not Captain and likely Hogan will be lined on Williams. They have improved but so have we, so maybe we win by 7 instead of 27. No we have always had Tampa's number and that won't change under a new coach and system. In a few years maybe but not this year.
