There was also the initial concerns about his character. They thought that he might have been a bad apple, stemming from that incident in Oklahoma, where he got into a fight and subsequently got stabbed. But, the staff apparently went to his high school, talked to his coaches, etc.

I was reading he gets overpowered and doesn't have explosion around the edge. I've heard so many varying opinions I do not know what to believe. His size is fine, he's bigger than Tuck.

He needs some work imo but the potential is there.

He started out as a 6th/7th rounder, but was really rising late in the process. We got him about where he was being projected late. But yeah, I don't get it either. His tape is great; relentless motor, good production, big plays, good size/speed combo, and played a good level of competition.

I don't understand why he wasn't projected much higher either. I hadn't really watched any clips on the guy until after we drafted him, but once I did he looked every bit as good as some of the 1st/2nd round pass rushers. Only knock I can find is that he really trailed off in the 2nd half of the season as the Sooners had a really rough stretch of games.

Other than that, he looks like a 2nd round prospect on tape.
