Something is really off about Alexander. I just don't get how he could have been rated so low. Which is what scares me. On paper he appears at worst a 2nd round pick.

Long Arms: 35inch

Good Motor

Athletic

Nice production: 8.5 sacks / 19 TFL / 3 FF / 1 INT / 8 pass deflections

Comparable stats to Nick Perry who went in the 1st.

Either we got a steal or really whiffed on this one.

Some guys drop and other go up for various reasons. We thought enough of him to trade up to get him. I think it was a steal but only time will tell.

Doctors thought there was a damn hole in his heart before the combine, so he wasn't able to participate there. Got several more opinions and the consensus was that there was no heart problem. Yes we got a damn steal. Yes I'm pumped. fug you.

Not for a 4 - 3 DE. For a 3 - 4 DE yes.

270 is just right. 270 was bigger than Perry, Curry, and Jones if im not mistaken.

He did not get to perform at the combine because of this. There's plenty of game film to warrant drafting this guy in the second, but some scouting staffs put way too much stock in combine numbers. Their loss.

It is great he didn't do the combine, that way he fell to us.

Here are the proday results. Still not sure why he was projected here as a 7th rounder. I think it was because he really had only 1 great year which was his last one.
