I don't like the Alexander pick, but they really seem to. Hurney simply can't help himself when it comes to trading on draft day.

He has to make up for all the non activity we have in FA some how. That comes down to trading away future draft picks. Its a viscous cycle if you ask me.

We really can't condemn the trade until we've seen something out of the kid on an NFL field.

He's another one that has extremely large potential upside and could work out to be an exceptional pick even with the trade. If he works out then the cost was just fine and the trade was justified / acceptable. It's only if he flops Everette Brown style that the trade becomes one more thing in the "what the fug were you thinking Marty" column.
