I have an interesting question with this. If Beason is moved to the outside, who will be the guy calling the plays and setting up the defense overall? I always felt like it was the inside linebacker's job to do this, letting everyone else focus on doing their job to the best of their ability. (Also because I feel like the inside guy has the best view of the offense) So the biggest problem is in my eye, if Beason is moved, is he still calling the shots?

James Anderson did it last year from OLB I believe so i wouldn't worry too much.

Keuchly. He's more versatile in the passing game than Beason it seems. He definitely is a sure tackler and will limit those long runs to his side and Beason will stop those long runs in the middle.

While I don't believe well go 34, Kuechly shoul definitely to ILB when we do.

Yeah, he did a good job calling the Redskins game, but overall we didn't have a good year defensively. Of course, we just wasn't good defensively, but could an argument be made that one of the reasons our guys were out of place a lot, is because the playcalling wasn't done from the best area of perspective?

depends on how Beason is when he returns. If he is 100% from day 1 I could see keeping him inside, but more likely I see him taking some time to get back on his feet. It is clear they think that Kuechly can play outside, so we will see.

Yea I think they will have to look at Beason and see what makes us the better team.Thats all that counts..It will also allow us to bring Beason back slowly. He will have allot of stiffness and soreness in that foot.If beason and TD are as good as new I see Rivera getting creative with sub packages

I want Beason to stay in the middle, because we've seen he's better there.

Kuechley hasn't played a down in the NFL yet, so if he gets used to the outside, he could be a boss. Anderson, Beason, Kuech should be one of, if not THE best linebacker crew in the league.

Plus if Kuech plays the outside, I think he'd be quicker at getting to the outside and staying in coverage.

Was hoping Beason would stay in the middle, but the more I think about it, I believe they will move him outside so Kuechly can become our next Dan Morgan (minus the concussions). Anderson, Kuechly, and Beason is stout! Would love it if T. Davis could move back to safety, but I will save wishful thinking for another thread.

Play Davis as the Joker.....plays to his strengths.

I definitely believe they will move Beason to OLB.

The MLB needs to have the speed and mobility to play sideline to sideline. As much as we hate to admit it, Beason is unlikely to be back 100% and probably has lost some explosiveness.....maybe he gets it back, but it will take time.

Kuechly is a tackling machine and has the speed/range to roam the middle. Let Beason control 1/2 of the field and we are good to go.

Anderson as the other starter....and Davis playing the situational Joker position.

I like it.
