Carolina Panthers’ Picking Joe Adams Makes Armanti Edwards Obsolete

lol

He might be the worst WR in the NFL. What value does he have? Every year it's the same thing. Last year Armanti Lunatics said it was basically his rookie year because he got jobbed by Fox. Ok let's see what he can do with a new coaching staff....ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

He's garbage at WR and he's overmatched in the NFL. Send him to Canada

Im an App guy..here's my 2 cents....

I couldnt understand why Hurney traded away a valuable draft choice to reach up for Armanti. IMO...1st 2nd and 3rd round picks are like gold nuggets. One would think you hold on to them or trade to add more of these picks. They are picks you use to get STARTERS for your team....not maybe project players from App St...changing their position...one they've never played...and gambling like that. high risk very low reward move for me....

this coming from an App guy..

Might as well get a few toys, but hopefully he's prepared for life after football.

Just think about past history. David Clowney played with zeal and motivation during the pre-season last year, as did Tyrell Sutton. They could have easily made the team with the few opportunities that they had along with the effort that they displayed. Rivera axed them, so Armanti looks to be headed for the guillotine (regardless of what he does). Even that Manno kid is reportedly developing a good rapport with Cam, and you know we're gonna keep Adams, Lafell, and likely Pilares. I don't think Gettis is going anywhere if he picks up where he left off. Armanti better have a helluva camp.

he's really got no natural position and his only real use would be for trick play/passes since his arm is decent enough for us to pull those off

also it was a retarded idea to spend time trying to develop him into a returner. Adams can be productive instantly.

AE was supposed to be a returner and WR. We drafted Pilares last year who returns kickoffs and plays WR. We drafted Adams this year who returns punts and plays WR. AE will not make the 53 man roster. Adams can do anything he can and better.

Adams can do anything he can do better.... except throw the football.

It may take 3 years for a wr to develop fully, but the first two years there are some plays made by the ones worth keeping. It's not like at year three they all of a sudden can play. They show gradual improvement. The ones that don't get cut. It's pretty simple when you are not emotionally attached to a young player.

no dude every WR goes through this learning curve in the NFL where they do nothing it's like this brah

year 1: 0 catches

year 2: 0 catches

year 3: 83 catches

based on this logic we should keep armanti

I'm a app homer but I'm going to be realistic because some of you guys hate armanti so much you are unreasonable, His first year he didn't get a shot at doing anything and it was his first year at WR, last year he came into training camp and lite it up and improved massively everyone including Rivera mentioned that, he did well as a PR he didn't fumble once unlike Capt and goodson, This year he is going to be fighting for his spot, if he has a good camp there is no way he gets cut, if he progresses as a WR he will have value in punt returns, WR, and wildcat/QB, to much value to cut unless he flunks camp, it's really his job to lose.

lol

the NCAA's best punt returner last year is going to have to somehow wrangle the job from incumbent and established starter ARMANTI EDWARDS WHOSE LONGEST PUNT RETURN LAST YEAR WAS ABOUT 0.1 YARDS MORE THAN JOE'S AVERAGE LAST SEASON AT ARKANSAS

who's gonna win?

Uh right now he has no value. We have plenty of guys that can catch better than him and return better than him. We got other guys on the team that can do whatever he does better. Hogan and Munnerlyn can return punts if Adams gets hurt. In fact, Munnerlyn has the best ruturn average on the team atm for punts. His average is 9.9. AE's is 5.5. The last time Munnerlyn was a PR he averaged almost 11 yards. Double AE's average. AE's value to this team right now has plummeted.

It's funny a app homer calling himself realistic when in fact he's still being a homer.
