I can't see armanti getting cut this year unless manno completely outplays him in camp. armanti is in the third year of what was considered a several-year conversion project. he was the star of training camp last year playing at the wide receiver position but his lack of reps on the field kept us from really seeing what he's capable of.

There is a very good probability that he will amount to nothing in the NFL, and it's probably a safe bet that if he stays this year it's his last shot, but I would not discount the staff's desire to find his ceiling before dumping him to the curb.

Yea we're gonna cut someone who was solid for us in the return game and scored a TD on a kick return for the first time in 8-9 years for us. He can also catch better than AE. No way AE makes it over Pilares. That's just idiotic thinking.

I agree, Pilares isn't going anywhere. He's a very solid kick returner and has upside as a receiver. Lafell, Smith, Gettis (Unless something goes wrong), Pilares, and Joe Adams are guaranteed a spot. Everyone else is vying for a 6th spot. Outside chance of a 7th receiver if there is another guy they REALLY don't want to let go, and think can help us.
