Edwards won't be returning kicks.....and has never recorded a single reception as a reciever. Carolina would be foolish to let a body pointlessly occupy a roster spot. Keep him for what....

sounds like a good idea letting him backup Cam and Anderson atleast giving him a shot before cutting him. Could be to us what a lot of fans wanted Russell Wilson for cause he more like Cam than our current backups.

It is a possibility that Adams doesn't immediately return punts due to ball security issues as you pointed out. I doubt it, but it is a possibility. However, even if that does happen, we can always use Captain as our returner until Adams works out the issues.

I just don't see any way we justify a roster spot for AE.
