Which Saturday Draft Choice Has The Best Chance To Get Playing Time This Season?

Depending on how Alexander does in TC he could see a lot of time rotationally at the beginning of the season.

I also think that Joe Adams, later on in the season, will be incorporated in the offense more and more as the slot guy and trick plays where he's in motion.

Depending on how well Hogan plays, Norman could see the field as well, especially if there is, God forbid and injury.

I think Norman has a good shot of starting opposite of Gamble. He and Hogan will be competing for that spot but I see Capt being the primary Nickle. People forget just how good he was in that position. But a lot will depend on the WRs they are facing and whos on the field. It will depend a lot on the match ups.

But I have a god feeling about Norman. I think we might just be the starter....hey it's now officially the offseason and nothing is really happening for three months so hope and speculation is all we have.

I have to go with Alexander...

Adams will get time at slot receiver, but I anticipate he will be used most heavily on Special Teams this season, particularly if our other receivers stay healthy this year...

I don't know whether Alexander will start over Hardy, but I do anticipate he will work into the rotation, specifically in passing situations and third downs... It's the motor I like... They traded up to get him, and I anticipate they'll really try to use him early...

Josh Norman, I have read some articles thaat say he has all the tools to be a solid corner. I think Gamble and Hogan start and Norman pushes Captain for the nickle spot.

I agree.

He has rough edges.

Least we forget we just hired Rivera's bud from the Chargers who is a CB guru (or so they say).

Excluding special teams is kinda lame, since three of the players (Nortman, Adams, and Campbell) were drafted specifically for special teams.

That said, Alexander seems the most pro-ready, and will likely get worked in the DE rotation.

I like what I've seen/heard from Norman, but people are nuts if they think he's starting day one. Pro receivers and QBs will abuse his aggressive style. He's going to spend at least year getting burned on double moves and faked out by QBs. I like his potential, but I think its going to take a while for him to adjust from Coastal to the National Football League.

Do people forget about Pilares when thinking Adams is going to be in the slot immediately this year? Adams is going to light it up as a punt returner, maybe be included in a few special packages like a WR reverse, and push for playing time next season perhaps, but Pilares is a much more polished receiver at this point.

I love our draft, but people are getting ahead of themselves about how much time it takes for players to develop.

The reason I said Adams is because he's going to be included immediately. Rookie WRs, especially ones as dynamic as Adams, usually see the field the first game, in limited roles. Will he be the starting Punt Returner? Yeah, he will. But, he'll also see the field in 4 and 5 receiver sets, and he could even come out and line up in the backfield with Cam.

Trust me, the guy is way more dynamic than most people are thinking. He's not just a slot receiver.

Alexander was the one pick I didn't like but only because it felt like it was more of a need pick rather than BPA. I only realy see him as a rotation guy at best.

As a rotation guy, I think Alexander sees the most action. Adams will be mainly ST IMO. You could argue Keiser deserved more reps last year over Hardy.....
