I don't overrate him because I know what he brings. He is a great play maker but he is a average cover corner.

But I think the casual college football fan sees highlights and top 10 plays and think he is a great CB in terms of covering his assignment. I think I remember seeing him a lot in the nickel position where he'd either rush the QB or not have the duty of covering someone on the outside. I need to see more out of him before I can even consider him as a 1st round pick.

depends on what type of role you are going to play him in. a cover 2 scheme he will do wonders in, or maybe changing his position to FS would be good for him. he has the range, and the balls to come up and lay the wood. dude is a playmaker and has a knack for getting his hands on the ball.

Mathieu is too small to be a really effective NFL cover corner. I suspect we'll take a safety early unless Nakamura really steps up this year as Martin's contract is up after this season. Robert Lester is a beast and a very safe pick as a mid-late 1st rounder.
