Official Panthers Undrafted Free Agent Thread...

even if they were high on Barnidge, we'd still need another TE and no effort has been made to get one. So I really hope that it does mean Shockey returns.

Not really. With Barnidge back and Shockey gone, we have exactly the same number of te's that we had during last season.

However, I would not be surprised to see Shockey back.

RT @VandalsGoCampin: Princeton McCarty headed to Carolina Panther just talked to him in Moscow #GoVandals

The big upside for prospective teams looking at McCarty in the draft is his blinding speed. His 4.35 forty yard dash time at the Idaho Pro-Day was better than any time at the NFL Combine for running backs and would have been second overall out of all positions. All the time he has spent running for the Idaho Men’s track team has clearly paid off.

Height: 5-07 Weight: 197

Position: RB/KR

40 Time: 4.35

225 Lb. Bench Reps: 19

Vertical Jump: 36

Broad Jump: 10'00"

20 Yrd Shuttle: 4.24

3-Cone Drill: 6.96

Whoa, scat back?

Ehhh... Looks really quick and elusive, but I don't see 4.3 speed. Could just be his size and the angles defenders are taking though. Looks like a quality pickup though, could be a great PS guy or 4th RB if we keep one.

    • Honestly Bryce is a conundrum right now I'm not really sure what we should do with him but I am content on him being the quarterback number one going into next season. I think we should allow him the chance to play out the season to prove that he's the quarterback he can be going into next season.  I would not waste a high draft pick on a quarterback because I'm not sure anyone in this up and coming class is as good or has the ceiling that he had with that said I wouldn't throw away the future I would bring in someone like Justin Fields to have him looking over his shoulder and give us a plan b if everything doesn't go right on a one-year deal. I think the priority right now if tepper wants to make a big splash is find a way to get Travis Hunter that would be option 1AA because he helps with both sides of the field either way whatever you need defense or offense. Make that happen and then go mostly defense the rest of the way and we're cooking.
    • Move on from what?   Let me guess we gatekeeping on who we can and can't appreciate?   Next time I will just make a Kuechly appreciation thread lmao
