Found a message on my sons phone that said 170 or 330 o. I'm sure it is drugs but not sure what. Surely pot isn't that expensive so I'm sure it is something harder. Any idea?

Also, where do you live? The location will reflect the price. If your boy is buying high quality strains then 330 an ounce isn't out of the question.

Did some quick research. Average price of high quality reefer is 425 an ounce in nc. Ask him what he's doing.

I will... His prom was last night and he spent the night with some of his friends so he isn't home yet!! I have had my suspicions for a while haven't said anything because I don't want to be "that" parent. He turns 18 on June 16th and is going off to college in the fall so there really isn't much I can say.

Well it didn't go as well as I had hoped! I asked him straight up if he was doing any type of illegal drugs and he told me no. I asked him if he would be willing to take a drug test and he said no. I figured if he didn't have anything to hide he should have no problem taking a drug test right? He says that he shouldn't have to prove anything to me and that I should just believe him. I told him I loved him and didn't want to see him screw up when he was this close to graduating high school and going off to college with his whole life in front of him.

He's pretty mad but I figure he will eventually get over it! ;)

You're his dad, who gives a poo if he's mad. My kids get mad all the time, but if he's under 18 and living under your roof, you have the right to know what he's doing. If he's not being straight with you it's on you to find out and help him make the right decisions.

If you're footing the bill for college you still have the right to demand he play by your rules too.
