Why do you think he isn't an upgrade over Hardy?? Because of media projections??? LOL.

Maybe because I dont think he a good DE like all the other GM's that needed DE / pass rushers that passed him up.

Hardy isnt a scrub, so only way to upgrade Hardy would have been to draft a DE in the first 2 rounds imo

Hardy isnt good. See the point?

We just gave up a 3rd for a player that isnt an upgrade to Hardy and Hardy isnt even a good DE.

Alexander is 7th in Oklahoma history in career sacks. And that is in the Big 12 which nearly every single team runs a spread option or some variation which makes sacks harder to come by.

And no one wanted this awesome 6'4 270 pound DE with 35 inch arms for what reason?

I like this and for the people who feel uneasy:

We got a guy some thought could even go at the tail end of the second/top of the third and a guy people thought was a 5-6 rounder both in the 4th.

One guy is as much of a steal as the other is a risk...oh and our staff apparently liked what they saw and I have a feeling they know how to draft d-linemen. :)

6th rd grade was because of the heart condition they "found" at the combine. However, the diagnosis was proven to be wrong.

Guy is a baller. Co player if the year in the Big 12 and 2nd team all American. Worth the pick in the 4th round.

When will people understand that media projections mean very little. Especially in rounds 4-7. The truth is that where draftniks think a guy should go often times varies wildly with even the majority if NFL GMs.

Hurney probably got wind that someone was going to draft him and wanted to move up to get him. Much like the Browns did with Minnesota on Thursday. There was no way they give up that much to move one spot unless they knew something was going down.

Just watch the draft and have fun. Quit bitching constantly

Just like everyone was about to gobble up AE, right?
